I pledged after my Sophomore year, having attended Jr. College. What great memories of 2518 Leon Street !

After UT, I went into the Marine Corps and flew. Had a nice "rewards" trip to S.E. Asia and then a tour of duty at MCAS Cherry Point (NC). We liked NC and have adopted it as our second "home state". Have been married for 40+ years. I flew for United Airlines after the Marine Corps and retired in 2004. Started playing golf every day until boredom and an offer to do consulting work presented itself. I'm still consulting after years in Flight Operations and training airline pilots. The only aircraft I occasionally fly now is a 1940 Taylorcraft.

The old house...I can still see Mother Patsy Welsh, remember Hell Week as if it was yesterday, enjoyed great parties on the rear patio...remember Joel Shannon trying to teach us to harmonize for a Christmas party (more Scotch please)...Mike O'Dowd's new baby blue Mustang convertible and on and on. Oh, I'll always miss Lynn Cooper !
