After graduation from UT ('66), I attended Law School in Houston graduating in 1969. I worked as a Banker for 30 years in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville. During the last seven years of banking, we put together a group 11 banks in South Texas under the name of Mercantile Bank N.A. These banks were sold to Wells Fargo in 1996 and then I practiced law for 10 years. I am married to Jeanne Schiller Gibbs for 25 years, have two grown children and we are retired. We have a small ranch in Boerne and raise Alpacas, Mini Horses and Quail.
